Today I joined the blogging craze and I don't know what the crap I'm doing.

It seems as though most of my married friends have a blog and are quite proficient at the whole thing. So I thought in order to keep in touch with those I love and care about... I too must start a blog. Also, I figure since I'm really terrible about keeping a journal, this will help me document my life better.

Well, Jonny and I are going on 1 year and 4 months of being married. YAHOOOO!!! Boy oh boy, has it been quite the adventure. In our first year we spent living in an apartment, we really got to know each other better. We soon discovered a few fun things about apartment living, as well as each other's weird quirks and so forth.

To begin, we learned... (I LEARNED) that it is not neccessery to rent the TOP floor of the building. Jonny thought it would be the best place to be during a zombie uprising or civil unrest. But for me, every time I had to bring 25 bags of groceries up 3 flights of stairs, during severe winter storms, I did not share the same sentiments. However, I did burn 3,000 calories during the escapade, so that was great. The second lesson we learned was BUY EARPLUGS. Our ever-respectful and loving neighbors would smoke pot and play guitar on their porch all throughout the night. It just so happened to be right by our bedroom window, so not only could I hear their lovely boisterous conversations, but if I was lucky I could smell a faint gust of weed smoke. Delicious!

Jonny quickly learned that I may have a couple sleep walking/talking issues of my own. Perhaps it was the time I got out of bed and proceeded to sing and dance the first Act of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to myself, in the mirror, at 3 in the morning. Or maybe it was the time I climbed on top of him with a pair of scissors, telling him I had the scissors he needed. Of course, he didn't need or want scissors, he was sleeping, and I was getting frustrated because I had gone out of my way to find him a pair, that he was simply refusing to take from me. Um... ya, that was a bit scary when I came to, and realized that I was on top of him with a dangerously sharp object. I realized from then on I should probably be strapped to the bed and given strong doses of sedatives- horse tranquilizers would do the trick, I suppose.

Anywhooo... After living almost one year at Legacy Springs Apartments we decided to begin the house hunt. That was quite the task I tell you, but after several months, we found the perfect home for us to buy. We moved in to our new house the end of July and have loved it so much.
